A ‘grease’ Prequel Movie, ‘summer Lovin’ Is Coming
As every Grease fan will know, Danny and Sandy met down at the seashore at some stage in the college vacations, before Sandy tragically needed to go back to Australia at the end of summer (or so she concept).
But what exactly went down, down at the seashore? Well lovers, it wont be lengthy before we discover due to the fact a Grease prequel is formally going on! Yaaaass.
The Paramount movie, named Summer Lovin’, has simply been assigned a director, too. According to Deadline, Brett Haley will direct, meanwhileLeah McKendrick has penned the script and Temple Hill and Picturestart will produce.
Currently, the best synopsis enthusiasts were given is that the film will awareness “on the fling Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson had earlier than reconnecting at high school”.

One of the songs from the hit 1978 film, ‘Summer Nights’ does provide a few indication about what the plot of the prequel could encompass – although it’s doubtful whether this has been strictly caught to within the script.

For instance, inside the music, Danny says he saved Sandy’s existence – even though in her model he clearly ‘confirmed off splashing round’ (so perhaps that’s how they to begin with meet?!)
