Extreme ‘Beast’ Clips Give Us the Idris Elba vs. Murderous Lion Activity We’re Yearning [Video]
Idris Elba fights for his life when a starving predator comes knocking on his car door in Universal’s survival scary movie Beast, which will be launching right into movie cinemas on August 19.
We’ve been provided with 4 new clips from Beast today, the first which sets out the legislation of the forest. From there, the action-horror ramps up, finishing in an extreme last clip that sees Idris Elba fending off a lion attack while concealing underneath a car.
Think Cujo… with a bloodthirsty predator much more vicious compared to a canine!
Baltasar Kormákur (Everest, Adrift) guided Beast for Global Photos. Based upon an idea by Jaime Primak-Sullivan, Ryan Engle (Rampage) composed the manuscript.
In Beast, “A recently widowed guy (Idris Elba) and his 2 teen children travel to a video game reserve in Southern Africa. However, their trip of healing quickly becomes a defend survival when a bloodthirsty lion begins to stalk them.”
Here is a much longer plot synopsis for the movie:
“Elba plays Dr. Nate Daniels, a recently widowed hubby that returns to Southern Africa, where he first met his spouse, on a long-planned journey with their children to a video game reserve managed by Martin Fights (Sharlto Copley), an old family friend and wild animals biologist.
“But what starts as a trip of healing shocks right into a terrifying defend survival when a lion, a survivor of blood-thirsty poachers that currently sees all people as the opponent, starts tracking them. Iyana Halley plays Daniels’ 18-year-old child, Meredith, and Leah Sava Jeffries plays his 13-year-old, Norah.”
