Paramount+ presents the first preview images of the highly anticipated spy thriller Special Ops: Lioness (formerly titled “Lioness”). The original series, conceived by the Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridanstars the actress and executive producer Zoe Saldanathe Academy Award winner and executive producer Nicole KidmanLaysla De Oliveira and the Oscar winner Morgan Freeman. Special Ops: Lioness is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios exclusively for Paramount+.

The plot and the cast of Special Ops: Lioness

Special Ops: Lioness is based on a real-life agenda and follows Cruz Manuelos (De Oliveira), a rough but passionate young Marine who is recruited to join the Lioness Engagement Team to help destroy a terrorist organization from within. Saldaña will play Joe, the Lioness program manager tasked with training, managing, and mentoring her undercover operatives.

Special Ops: Lioness will have as main protagonists also Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Stephanie Nur and Hannah Love Lanierwhile the Emmy Award nominee Michael Kelly will have a recurring role.
