The 6th Day film tells the story of a chartered pilot named Adam Gibson (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who is assigned to go on a ski trip. Before leaving, Adam and his best friend, Hank (Michael Rapaport), must first undergo a series of blood and eye tests to verify their condition and abilities. Unfortunately, the series of tests they underwent were abused by their boss, Michael Ducker (Tony Goldwyn).

Due to Drucker’s advantage, the two had to first undergo blood and eye tests to verify their prowess. On the day of Drucker’s arrival, Adam discovers that his family’s dog Oliver has died, and Hank offers to fly Drucker in exchange to allow Adam time to get the cloned pet.

After visiting the “RePet” shop, he remains unconvinced and buys a stuffed animatronic, a SimPal, named Cindy instead.

Adam returns home and finds that not only has Oliver been cloned, but the clone he purports to be with his family, along with the other SimPal Cindy.

Replacement Technologies security agents Marshall, Talia, Vincent and Wiley arrive intending to kill Adam. Adam kills Talia and Wiley in the ensuing chase and escapes, but the two are then cloned.

After the police betray Adam to security agents he escapes and seeks refuge in Hank’s apartment. Moments later, Tripp (whom Adam recognizes from a ski trip) kills Hank and is fatally injured by Adam.

Revealed as a religious anti-cloning extremist, Tripp tells Adam that Hank is a clone, as he killed the original on the mountaintop that day, to be able to kill Drucker, who was also a clone, and now has a new one. Drucker’s clone.

Tripp then commits suicide to avoid being captured by Marshall and the others.

The agents arrive again and Adam is able to deactivate Marshall and kill Talia again, stealing her thumb.
