After “A life at the top” (2015) and “Anxiety and discomfort” (2017) and after “Torn along the edges” (2021), soundtrack to the animated series written and directed by Zerocalcare, will be available from Friday 9 June on digital platforms and in various physical formats ALL BADnew album by the Roman singer-songwriter. The album will be released by Woodworm and will be distributed by Universal Music Italia and is already in preorder.

After the announcement of the album release and the release of the first excerpt I WANT TO DIEalready on the radio and on digital platforms, arrives today for GIACANNE another important news: the collaboration with ZEROCALCARE is renewed, which has chosen the songs of the Roman singer-songwriter for its new Netflix original series This world won’t make me bad, produced by Movimenti Production – a company of the Banijay group – in collaboration with BAO Publishing. The 11 tracks will be available digitally and in a double vinyl – always outgoing on June 9th – which will see the new album in the first LP ALL BAD, containing the title track as well as the theme song of the series YOU ARE IN A WONDERFUL COUNTRY, which gives its name to the second LP, the collection of songs chosen for the series. As GIACANNE comment on the renewed collaboration with Zero limestone: “I am very honored to have contributed to setting the new Zerocalcare series to music: I composed the music for some parts while I was finishing my new album and I was able to put some depression accumulated over time into it, which found no outlet in the tracks of the album . The thing that amused me a lot was being able to give some songs, apparently funny, a minimal look by taking up the themes only with the piano and by trying we realized that they fit perfectly on some scenes”.

During the tour the great classics of the singer-songwriter’s career, but above all the songs from the new album ALL BAD: “It’s my third unreleased album – GIANCANE says – and encloses 5 years of life, of tours, of depression, of happiness, of unhappiness, of illnesses, of highways, concerts, mourning, oh well, in short, 5 years of life. It’s a bit of a depressed record, a bit of a dick and it’s a collection that also contains everything I wanted to do musically”.

Giancarlo Barbati returns to the scene and does it in full style GIACANNEdeciding to make life complicated, but only to give fans a disc that is a true cult object. In addition to the double vinyl, ALL BAD will be in fact available in different formats, all accompanied by an album of stickers, an alternative booklet which includes, in addition to the cover, 10 illustrations – one for each song – by 8 different artistsinvolved by GIACANNE in the realization of the graphic apparatus of the disc. First of all ZEROLIMEwith which the partnership has already been consolidated since 2018 for the video of Hypochondria which constituted the soundtrack of the animated shorts of “Rebibbia Quarantine”, produced in 2020, and for the OST of the series “Tear along the edges”.
